BURTON EMBRY NAMED CHIEF COMPLIANCE OFFICER
Salt Lake City, UT- JULY 16, 2015- Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI), one of the nation’s top residential mortgage lenders, has named Burton Embry the company’s new Chief Compliance Officer. In his new capacity, Embry will continue to oversee and manage the company's Enterprise Risk Management Group and represent PRMI’s interests with industry and trade groups as well as provide significant consultative direction in the company’s day-to-day and long range business activities.

Embry brings with him over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry with more the 25 of those years focusing on mortgage compliance and quality assurance matters. He has become a nationally recognized compliance leader having been a successful regulatory compliance executive with top leading mortgage companies and as an active member of several associations and committees. Embry is currently the Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association Regulatory Compliance subcommittee and is a member of the Advisory Board of Regulatory Compliance Magazine as well as a member of the magazine’s “Ask the Experts” panel. Embry often speaks at meetings and conferences about industry issues related to loan officer compensation, mortgage loan originator licensing and state and CFPB examination practices and developments as well as other general compliance matters.
